Hi everyone! It's been a while! I want to say "Thank You"  to everyone who has taken time to stop by my Esty shop.  People are beginning to find my little shop in the huge "world of Etsy"  My skirts are beginning to sell!!!  I'm considering custom orders, but, I'm really not sure I want to do that.  Does anyone do that?

Wow!  It's been a while since I've posted.  It has been a crazy busy summer!  I've been in 6 art shows/music festivals in the past 8 weeks!...No wonder I'm tired!  LOL!   My summer shows are done and now I have some time to post a few of my creations....and start building up my inventory and my Etsy shop!...and get ready for the holidays!  Yikes...Here's a few more skirts that I just listed in my Etsy shop!

Joshua Davis upcycled skirt

Last week my hubby and I went to a Joshua Davis concert.  We live in the town he was born in and he came home to do a show!   It was awesome!  Of course, I bought a tshirt and made a skirt! 

It's been a crazy summer.  But, only two shows left.  This weekend I will be vending at a show in Copper Harbor, Mi.   I've never done this show, so, I'm really excited!  Lots of art, music and sunshine!  Sounds like a great weekend.

Here's a picture of my tent from the show I did in Curtis,  Michigan, last weekend!  I love that little town! The weather was amazing!  Bright and sunny and 80 degrees...perfect day!

I made this skirt yesterday and it turned out so cool!  I can't tell you how soft it is!  It's made from cotton and,  maybe, cotton/rayon blend t-shirts. Not sure about the blend content.  I bought this shirt for myself because it had a beaded elephant on the front.  But, the bright orange was a bit much for me.....kind of clashed with my white hair! LOL

Led Zepplin, Elvis Presley upcycled skirts!

My hubby and I spent the last week at our son's house and had a wonderful visit! Other family members and friends were there as well!  He and his wife moved closer to home...it's only a 7 hour drive instead of a flight across the country!  But, this week I'm back in work mode, getting ready for summer shows!  I was able to cut up and sew shirts together before I left, so, when I got home I could lay out my patterns, cut them out, and sew! Upcycled skirts, Jim Morrison

I took some time this weekend to work on some custom orders.  Memorial day was cool and rainy, so, I decided I might as well sew!  I made three up-cycled skirts, a mini wrap for one of my favorites customers, a Jim Morrison skirt for a repeat customer and a straight skirt for a friend who just couldn't throw way those very special t-shirts.  Here they are!
